What is Notabe, exactly?
A voice-first AI notes app for iPhone and iPad. Speak a thought — or type it, or share text in — and Notabe transcribes it on your device, gives it a clean title, tags it, and lets you search your whole notebook by meaning instead of exact words.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your voice is transcribed on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's on-device speech — the audio is never uploaded. Only the resulting text is used to title, tag, and summarize, and that AI processing happens at Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude) under their commercial API terms — they don't keep your inputs, and we don't opt into training. You can disable AI processing entirely in Settings → Privacy.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, no email, no password. Your identity lives on your device and syncs over iCloud, so the same notes and the same plan follow you across your devices automatically.
Can I sync between iPhone and iPad?
Yes, via iCloud. Same Apple ID, automatic. Sync runs through Apple's CloudKit — we don't run a separate sync server.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. You keep Pro access until the end of the billing period, then drop to Free. Your notes, edits, and tags all stay — nothing is deleted.
Can I capture without speaking?
Yes. Voice is the fast path, but you can type a note directly, or share text into Notabe from any app with the iOS share sheet. Every path gets the same auto-title, tags, summary, and search.
Does my voice get recorded and uploaded?
No. Transcription runs on your device with Apple's speech recognition, and the audio never leaves it. Notabe keeps the resulting text — the note — not a recording of your voice.
What if Notabe titles or tags something wrong?
Edit it in a tap, or ignore it. Titles and tags are suggestions; nothing is locked in without your acceptance, and the vocabulary stays yours.
Do you offer a lifetime plan?
No — Notabe is subscription-only. Pro is $9.99/month or $59.99/year (Save 50%) and gets unlimited AI without throttling. If you'd rather not pay, the Free tier — voice and text capture, on-device transcription, auto-title and auto-tag on every note, and 5 AI summaries a month — is there forever.
